The Wabash Valley's Most Comprehensive Site!

You have just arrived at the Hometown.Net Community Access Network System serving the Wabash Valley in Western Indiana and Eastern Illinois. It consists of an intranet running below the internet with a seamless interface. Our intranet requires a Netscape plug-in and/or special client software. The directions which follow will assist you with loading this special browser. It will require about 7.5 meg of HD space.
In order to access some of the more advanced features of our site you will need to become a member of our system. There is a Demo membership class that will allow you to see many of the features but not all of them. It expires two weeks after you sign up unless you upgrade to full membership status. We also have dial-up capability for folks living in the Terre Haute area. Our number for local dial up is 232-4089.
Full membership allows you to use all features of our system. It is $20/month if you access through the internet and $20/month if you access through our dial up. We use an automated sign-up and online credit card billing system.
We will walk you through the sign-up procedure. Follow the steps closely and you will have no problems.

If you would like to visit our Community Access Network then you are invited to click through the following links.
1. Sign-up for a "demo" (free for two weeks) or "internet" ($20/month) account
2. Download the software using "Intranet"
3. Come back to this page and click this "Launch" link to visit our Intranet side.
4. Read the Hometown.Net Guide waiting for you on your email
5. Check out all the neat features on Hometown.Net Internet and Intranet
Membership in Hometown.Net also gets you the Valley Early Morning Email News. It is free and arrives by 7:30 am (usually) each morning Monday thru Friday in your email. The Valley Morning News is rapidly growing in circulation and popularity. It is a way to keep in touch if you are a Valley resident, a college student, in the Armed Services, have interests in the Valley, are looking for a prospective business opportunity, are a parent of a student at one of our fine colleges or universities, or are a Terre Hautean living away from the "Crossroads of America."

We are pleased to be the Terre
Haute connection for Lycos City Guide
and invite you to continue your visits to other cities through our link.
